New York City’s largest art project has a new story in mind: a fictional movie.
On Saturday, the New York Times ran a piece about the new film The Manhattan Project, a project that would explore how technology transformed the citys economic landscape.
A short synopsis reads: In the film, a group of young scientists from across the country create a global surveillance system for the United States.
The movie is set in the late 1950s and features a cast of characters who include actors Tom Hanks and Tom Haggard, as well as a fictional character named Bob.
The piece notes that the film’s main character, a scientist named Bob, is described as a “strange genius” who has an uncanny ability to “read the minds of others”.
The Times piece quotes a member of the project who said that the fictional character, who will be voiced by Haggards son, Tom Hagen, is not in the movie but rather the protagonist of a novel about Bob, the movie’s protagonist.
The film is based on a novel by Tom Haskins and Tom Danczuk, published in 2002.
In a 2001 interview with the New Yorker, Haskin described The Manhattan Protocol as “the most famous document ever written in human history”.
The project has been in development since 2002.
The Times article notes that in 2017, the film was the subject of a documentary by the American Documentary Project, which explores the project.
“The Manhattan Project has been a fascinating and interesting project, but we have a story to tell and we’re making it,” filmmaker David Auerbach said in a statement.
“We’re doing the best we can, but I can assure you that we have the talent, and the ambition, to make it a great story that will be worth telling for generations to come.”
The Manhattan project is the subject to the Federal Government’s Department of Science and Technology, which has made the decision to make the project public.
A spokesperson for the Department of Transportation said: “The Federal Government is always interested in expanding public awareness of new technologies.
We believe that the Manhattan Protocol is an exciting new opportunity for public engagement and is an important piece of the story of the city.”
